A general term used to describe muscle, nerve or tendon pain, repetitive strain injury is a condition caused by repetitive, cumulative movement and overuse of a specific body part.
Primarily felt in areas in our upper body, such as the forearm, elbow, wrist, hands, neck and shoulders, this condition is sometimes caused by working at a computer or typing at a keyboard for long periods of time. Other culprits are playing instruments, gaming or sports such as cycling.
The symptoms can vary, but often include:
