Repetitive Strain Injuries can disrupt your productivity at work and at home.

A general term used to describe muscle, nerve or tendon pain, repetitive strain injury is a condition caused by repetitive, cumulative movement and overuse of a specific body part.

Primarily felt in areas in our upper body, such as the forearm, elbow, wrist, hands, neck and shoulders, this condition is sometimes caused by working at a computer or typing at a keyboard for long periods of time. Other culprits are playing instruments, gaming or sports such as cycling.

The symptoms can vary, but often include:

  • pain or tenderness
  • stiffness
  • tingling or numbness
